Recruits

We had recruits visit us from all corners of the US. We had a great time with them and I enjoyed them all. I think they would make a great fit here at UNM and aid in extending our tradition of diving excellence. Those of you ladies that visited us here at UNM, I wish you the best at making your decisions. Any choice you make will be a great one. Especially if it's to be a LOBO!!!

1st meet

The girls are working hard and we're getting ready for our 1st meet of the year. We will be swimming and diving against Northern Colorado here in our pool at 4pm. This year we have a small but talented team.

Carrie will be leading us off, our fith year senior from Southern California. She's strong, fast, mean and lean. Her 1meter event is as good as anyone in the country. She's looking strong enough to make a serious implact not only in our conference but at the NCAA Championships. This is her last year and I know she'll do well, therefore, we both expect great things from her.

MaryBeth is our red-shirt freshman, home grown here in Albuquerque. She has so much talent it's not even funny. It's a matter of trying to harness and channel her strength into quality dives. I know she has it in her. I told her, her first few years will be years of learning and by her Jr and Sr years, these years will be years of excitement. Watch out!!!

Our last diver comes from Russia. She is the product of a great diving system and I look forward to seeing great things from Alexandra (Sasha) Evangulova. She has beautiful lines and will definately make an impact at our Conference Championship and at the NCAA level. She's had to sit out due to NCAA regulations, however, come December she'll be able to suit up and dazel us with her dives.
