We just got back from Colorado where we had the AFA invitational. We've been traveling for the last 3 weekends, completing our 4th meet. We're finally home and we'll be home for a few weeks before conference. Carrie (our senior) had a rough meet (6th on 1m and 4th on 3m). After a few weeks of practice and rest I know she'll do well at conference and NCAA Zones. Our recent addition to the team Alex Lusk, a transfer from Florida, is improving every day. She's been out of the water for the last 1 1/2 years so everyday is an improvement. She's improving so much, by next year she'll be fighting for the top spots. MaryBeth, our red-shirt freshman is also improving every meet. She had a great meet. She finished 8th on 1m with still plenty of room to grow. I'd have to say this was a great week to see what we needed to work on and where we stood up against the rest of the conference.
